Season 1 (1998-1999)

1. "The Concert" (Pilot)--August 23, 1998

Eric finds out that he may be getting the Vista Cruiser. He also begins to notice a relationship forming between his next door neighbor and best friend, Donna. He gets the car and the gang go to a Todd Rundgren concert. On their way, the car battery dies and they give up Kelso's and Jackie's tickets. Eric and Donna share their first kiss.

2. "Eric's Birthday"--August 30, 1999

Eric knows that his mom's planning a surprise birthday party for him, and he wants no part of it. Donna obsesses about buying Eric the perfect present. Kelso falls for Eric's sister Laurie who's home from college. And Red drags Kitty away from the party, so the kids can have some privacy but Kitty can't stop imagining all the dreadful things that could be happening while she's away.

3. "Streaking"--September 6, 1998

When Gerald Ford comes to Point Place on a whistle-stop tour, Hyde, Kelso, Eric and Fez decide to make a statement by streaking. They all chicken out except for Eric. Red's chosen to ask the President a question at the town meeting. Donna's mortified when her dad wants her to wear an American flag jumpsuit.

4. "Battle of the Sexists"--September 20, 1998

Relations are strained between Donna and Eric when she keeps beating him at one-on-one and other games. Jackie warns Donna that Eric will never be her boyfriend if she doesn't let him win. Red spends all his time around the house fixing things that aren't broken.

5. "Eric's Burger Job"--September 27, 1998

Eric hates his new job at the local burger joint, but he doesn't want his dad to think he's a quitter. When Donna tells the gang that her parents will be away for the weekend and she'll be alone with her little sister, Eric completely misses the message she's trying to send him.

6. "The Keg"--October 25, 1998

When the kids find a keg in the middle of the road, they decide to throw a party at a deserted house and charge admission. Eric goes off in search of a tap and returns just as Bob, Red and a couple of police officers are arriving to break up the party.

7. "That Disco Episode"--November 8, 1998

A new disco opens in Kenosha and Jackie drags the gang there. Hyde has Kitty teach him how to dance and Bob catches them in the act and thinks something else is going on.
Hyde surprises Donna by asking her to dance, and Fez and Jackie surprise everyone when they take over the dance floor with their "Saturday Night Fever" moves.

8. "Drive-In"--November 15, 1998

Both Donna and Eric are extremely nervous about their plans to go to a drive-in movie together. The Erdmans, Fez's host family, want him to stop listening to rock music which they think is evil. Kitty takes a quiz in Cosmo and learns that there's no spontenaity in her marriage.

9. "Thanksgiving"--November 22, 1998

It's Thanksgiving and Laurie is bringing her friend Kate home for the holidays--who kisses Eric and pisses Donna off. Grandma Foreman is supposed to come down and they forget to pick her up.

10. "Sunday Bloody Sunday"--November 29, 1998

Eric's got a term paper due on Monday, but to keep the family peaceful, he agreed to entertain Grandma Foreman during her visit. The gang tries to help Eric write his paper, but only Donna seems really serious. Fez makes friends with Grandma Foreman and her feet.

11. "Eric's Buddy"--December 6, 1998

Eric "clique breaches" and starts hanging out with Buddy Morgan, his chemistry lab partner, and leaves Hyde and Kelso behind. Red is having trouble selling stuff at Bargain Bob's--he needs to work on his people skills.

12. "The Best Christmas Ever"--December 13, 1998

The Foreman's are throwing their annual Christmas party and Eric wants to throw his own. Red agrees and gives Eric $40 to buy a tree and the rest Eric can spend on his party. So the gang cut down a tree from the side of the road and use all the money for the party. Eric's sister spikes the punch that his mom made for the party and all of Jackie's friends get drunk and go are all over Fez. Hyde wants to get Donna a special gift. Kelso forgets to get Jackie a present and winds up getting her hot rollers from Bob's store. Bob makes Red work on Christmas Eve. The cops show up to confiscate the Forman's Christmas tree.

13. "Ski Trip"--January 17, 1999

The gang's planning a ski trip to Jackie's dad's cabin, but when Jackie learns that Kelso's been making out with another girl behind the gym, he's no longer invited.

14. "Stolen Car"--January 24, 1999

Red takes away the Vista Cruiser when Eric gets a scratch on it. Kelso's cousin loans him a car, so the guys have some wheels, but soon they're pulled over by the police and taken to jail for possession of a stolen car.

15. "That Wrestling Show"--February 7, 1999

At Kitty's urging, Red (accompanied by Bob) goes with Eric and his friends to a pro wrestling match where Eric meets his idol Rocky Johnson.

16. "First Date"--February 14, 1999

Eric takes Donna to dinner at the Vineyard for their first date and plans to ask her to be his girlfriend. Hyde, who's not going down without a fight, shows up at the restaurant to plead his case with Donna. The parents get all excited about their kids and have a fondue party.

17. "The Pill"--February 21, 1999

Jackie lets everyone know that she is pregnant with Kelso's baby and puts Kelso in a state of depression. Donna decides to go on the pill so the same thing doesn't happen to her. Donna's and Eric's parents find out and freak. Jackie later finds out that she's not pregnant and breaks up with Kelso. Red and Ktty talking to Eric about sex (and foreplay), and Red hoses Eric down with the water hose.

18. "Career Day"--February 28, 1999

It's Career Day and Eric goes with Kitty to the hospital, Fez and Hyde see Hyde's mom, Gross Edna the lunch lady. Kelso goes with his dad to work and tries to figure out what he does, and Jackie helps Red repair the Vista Cruiser.

19. "Prom Night"--March 7, 1999

Prom Night is upon the gang and Eric has to come up with a plan (including hotel room) for him and Donna. Kelso is taking Pam Macy to the prom and that leaves Jackie in the cold. She soon coaxes Hyde into taking her.

20. "A New Hope"--March 14, 1999

The gang goes and sees the movie of 1977--"Star Wars" and Kelso can't get over seeing the movie and becomes obsessed. Eric's old nemsis David "scoliosis asthma freak" Millbank comes into town and tries to steal Donna. Donna thinks Eric's a possessive jerk and he vows to steal her from Eric before he leaves town. Red has a new job and Eric finds out that it won't be for long, but can't burst his dad's bubble. Laurie is flunking college.

21. "Water Tower"--June 7, 1999

Kelso hurts himself when the gang paints a pot leaf on the water tower. Jackie blames Hyde for hurting Kelso and Kelso turns against Hyde. Eric goes to get help from his mom, who's a nurse and catches Red and Kitty having sex and has to deal with it. Eric keeps having flashbacks from seeing his parents having sex so his parents think he is on drugs.

22. "Punk Chick"--June 14, 1999

A punk chick comes to town and sweeps Hyde off his feet. She wants him to go to New York with her. Meanwhile, Eric is having problems getting Donna's bra off. Red and Kelso try to make smaller paddles on Pong.

23. "Grandma's Dead"--July 12, 1999

Eric takes Grandma Foreman home one night and asks her if it would kill her to be nice. And then she dies. Red hides his emotions. Kitty bakes. Red's brother Marty comes from out of town to attend the funeral, and he's an "emotional tool". The gang attends the funeral and are of course very crass.

24. "Hyde Moves In"--July 19, 1999

The gang goes skinny dipping and wind up losing their clothes. They go to Hyde's house to get some clothes and find out his mom left town with a trucker. Jackie gets sick and Kelso sees her without any make-up on. The guys get Donna high. Eric convinces Red and Kitty to let Hyde move in.

25. "The Good Son"--July 26, 1999

Hyde gets on Red's good side by doing all of Eric's chores. Eric starts feeling ignored. Red's friend Bull comes back into town and offers him a job. Red and Kitty find out that Bull and his wife are swingers and Red turns down the job. Meanwhile the Eric decides to bounce a bowling ball on the couch and it bounced into the tv. Hyde took the blame for it. They now have to find a job to replace Red's tv.
